BJ Smith

BJ Smith has been one of the top college basketball coaches in America.  He has won over 400 games at places where others have struggled.  He has taken teams to the NCAA D1, NJCAA (D1 and D2) and NAIA National tournaments, including two national championship games. His programs have always focused on developing players and finding innovative methods to expedite the growth and development of players. In one 9 year period, Coach BJ had 18 NJCAA All-Americans at a school that in its entire history, had only had one previously.  He has been named National, Regional and State Coach of the Year. 

On top of his basketball coaching success he started a track and cross-country program at Phillips University that was immediately successful at the national level, finishing both cross country and track seasons ranked in the top 10 in America. He has a number of former assistants and players that have gone on to have successful coaching careers in high school, college and at the club levels.
